When you create an account, we collect your email address and password (hashed with bcrypt). When you add monitors, we store the URLs you provide. We also collect standard server logs (IP address, browser type, timestamps) for security and debugging purposes.
We use your information to provide the StatusShield service: monitoring your endpoints, sending alerts, and displaying status pages. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
All data is encrypted in transit using TLS 1.3. Passwords are hashed with bcrypt. We follow industry-standard security practices including rate limiting, CORS policies, and input validation on all endpoints. Our infrastructure is hosted on reputable cloud providers with strong security track records.
We retain your monitoring data for the duration specified by your plan (7 days for Free, 90 days for Starter, 1 year for Pro). You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from your settings page.
We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We use Vercel Analytics for anonymous usage statistics. We do not use advertising cookies or trackers.
We use Stripe for payment processing (PCI Level 1 certified). We use Vercel for hosting and analytics. We use Railway for database hosting. These providers have their own privacy policies.
You can access, update, or delete your personal data at any time through your account settings. To request a full data export or account deletion, email support@statusshield.app.
